I will truly missed England

After all the waiting and the big decision, either stay here in the UN or go back to England, we finally decide to stay here in Jordan which means we were start a new life here in meddle east.

It was a great decision I know because of great opportunities that the UN will bring, though life here is tough but job is great.
England is such a nice country but it’s not a good timing now to come back in there.
I will truly miss the place, the people the foods, transportation and specially the shooping...Ohhhh…but it’s not the end of everything because in the next a couple of months we will be visiting England…just to keep my residency.

So for now I will enjoy Jordan and live happily here with my sweetie….hopefully this place will bring us luck a baby we are waiting for and more love each and everyday of our life……
Welcome. Jordan….Welcome Home…

4 days Adventure in Jordan

I never though it will be so tiring to tour into Jordan’s famous history like Petra which is consider one of the 7 wonders of the world, Jerash the Roman City the magnificent Wadi Rum, the Dead Sea and Jordan’s pride beach which is called the Red Sea in the City of Aqaba, plus our new discovery which most Jordanians and even tourist did not discover it yet, is the Wadi Harun water falls.
3 days is not really enough to spend in this very historical country, on our 1st day we went to Jerash and I was surprise how big is the Roman city before but what is all left now is just a very few columns, but at least it was an original one and you can see how beautiful is the carving on it.
2nd day is in Petra which is one of the 7 wonders of the world, I wonder why it was the wonder of the world, its because it’s a city built in stones, yes stone, houses, shops, markets, buildings and everything is in stones….it really looks amazing ones you get there, though it’s the hottest month of the year the time we went there but once you were inside, it was cool and amazing how beautiful it was, cool because you were in the meddle of all that big like mountains of rocks.

It’s really fun going inside because they preserve the place, no vehicles is allowed to enter so it’s either walk or ride a camel or horse is the only choice you have.

I’m lucky enough that my sweetie is very nice to me and I ride a horse coming inside and it’s funny because he is walking..hahahhaah…he must love me!..or bit because riding a horse is expensive 6£ each…but on our way back my sweetie got a chance to ride a camel both of us together and its even cost a lot…hayyy….but its fun riding a giant animal…it was really an adventure..one thing you must remember doing all this things..is you must not forget to bring lots of water…

3rd day is Wadi Rum, I never get too interested in going there because I’m so tired already of 2days walking plus a heat of the sun that burns you…but when I got in there..
I was amazed of the beauty of place it’s really all desert, no plants just all sands and mountains of rocks…no hotels or what so ever in there..so camping is the only choice…2star, 3star, 5star hotels cant beat our 1000 stars hotel….heheheh it’s the Wadi Rum Bedouins tent…we even bit lucky because when we got there it’s sunset time, so we climbed in a cleft and saw the magnificent sunset.
Relaxing and chatting to Bedouin guys while waiting for our dinner which is a very simple Bedouin dinner but at least have rice…and we sleep in the sands…under the stars…after a relaxing night…a big adventure is waiting we start 8am for a 6 hour drive around the rocks mountains of Wadi Rum…what a adventure..and what a heat…yucks…I don’t like it…so far that’s what I don’t about our tour…

4th day is in Aqaba also known as the Red Sea, after all the tiring day in Jerash, Petra and Wadi Rum..now we are in the Paradise, stay in an AC room..and nice bed and hot shower and eating fresh seafood’s and swimming in the beach…wow I love it…

I thought the adventure is finally over. but no.no.no.no…because Cannoning is awaiting…it’s a 2 hours walk in the water falls…I thought its easy but no its not…yah its refreshing to walk in the water but too tiring too because of the strong current…but we made it through…

After all the adventure we have….muscles is tired, bruises and broken ankle is what we got…hehehehheehe

UK here we go!

After 3 months that I left UK wow I truly miss the place. I miss the summer weather in London which is pretty good compare here in meddle east too hot but lucky for me because we are here in the city of Amman Jordan which is in the top of the mountain and it was bit cooler in the afternoon.

Me and my sweetie will be heading back to the UK in med-august and planning to stay abit in my place before in Surrey meet my friends there, shopping wow and touring some nice palace’s that I never visit because when I was there it was close because its winter time hopefully this time we can visit all of those nice places.

After maybe a week in London we head back to Jersey the Channel Island and start a new life together hopefully this time no more travels and apart to each other.
I can’t wait to go back and it will be nicer this time because its still summer we can go fishing or going to the ponds and have a picnic together.

This is all for now will be posted more in the future about our adventure in going back to the UK.

Jerusalem the Holy Land

Diary Entry 24 June 2008. We supposed to be exploring Israel but ended up lying in bed talking and frequenting coffee shop.
Phew tough Life….Still in Jerusalem area.

I did score a pair of Sketchers walking shoes since I’m supposed to be doing a lot of walking on this historical trip but I haven’t yet…hehehhe.

We did go to the park and lied under the tree and wasted more oxygen by talking. Ohhh….and another first. We had vegetarian lunches which surprised me as it was very tasty and diverse (and even healthy)

The Bunakan house is gone!

I learned that on the 21st June, 2008 at 11am that our family house was destroyed by Typhoon “Frank”.

It wasn’t much of a house, in fact a simple nepa house, made from palm leaves and bamboo, located in the centre of a relative’s corn field. We had no running water, and used to cook on a modest clay pot using any branches we could scavenge.

Thinking about our house, many memories have come back to me. My mother brought up six children without any of the luxuries that make life easier, and my father a fisherman, and earned barely enough in spite of long hours at sea small craft.

I remember one year hiding behind that house while all my friends rode off to high school in a tricycle, being kept home due to insufficient funds. Instead I walked 200 meters to a well, where I did the family laundry by hand and looked after the buffalo. I would wait for my father to get home on the hope he would give 1 peso (not even 2cents in value), so I could buy a snack, and feel rich.

Yet it’s not just bad memories I have, but plenty of good ones also. Even though we were poor there were always enough locally acquired vegetables, fish and rice, and more love and laughter than the wealthiest of families.

I shall miss that house, and if ever I have the means I promise to give my parents a comfortable home to live.

Who'd have tought.....

Who'd have thought that when we met more than 4 years ago that we would be married, happy, and always thinking of one another.

Today is a special day, the forth year anniversary of when we started dating. It hasn't always been easy, and there were periods of separation and confusion, but we hung in there, and now couldn't think of anything else we would rather be doing, or being with anybody else.

Sure, we were both naive, not knowing what would happen, and a little skinnier also, hehe, but ....we made it! Married now and so happy, we pray that God will give us a home and family, and will bless us with a happy and prosperous life together.

Happy 4rth year Anniversary my dear Husband, Sweetie, and Love...I will love you always and forever.

Pinoy Transportation

I'm proud to be Pinoy! and proud that I born here in Philippines.
Filipino is very creative and unique in alot of ways.
The most common transportation here in Philippines if you were in the provinces is the Motor cycle, before almost everyday I ride on it, didn't care of its benefits, of the tricycle as what we called here in Cebu.

But since I went abroad its one of the things that I truly miss, like riding on it, I have alot of good memories in the tricycle since I was young its our way of transportation already, from elementary until college I'm still riding on it.

Wow its so nice to here again..after alot of experiences from the other country its still nice to go back where you belong..and bring back the memories from before...
